Today, we’re introducing two of our behind-the-scenes heroes: Leigh and Peter! They keep things running in the background, whether it’s packing orders in the warehouse ready for delivery or out on the open road making the deliveries.
Let’s get to know them a little bit better!
Leigh – The Guildford Warehouse Wizard
Leigh is the mastermind behind our Guildford Warehouse and Collection Counter, your order arrives in perfect condition thanks to him and his team ensuring everything is packed secure and ready to go.
What’s the most rewarding part of working in this industry?
Seeing the end results from our customers and knowing we had a hand in making that happen.
What’s a typical day like at Marldon for you?
Stock checking, organising collections and deliveries, keeping the warehouse pristine, and helping customers with their orders. It’s a busy job, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
If you could describe Marldon in 3 words, what would they be?
Strong, Family & Values (A solid choice, just like our adhesives)
What’s an interesting fact about yourself?
Believe it or not, I’m not 35 years old…
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
Long walks by the coast, entertaining my kids and grandkids (or as they call it, “being annoying”).
How long have you worked at Marldon?
Just over a year – we couldn’t imagine the Guildford depot running without him!
What’s your favourite Marldon product and why?
Strata Acoustic Underlay – “Because it’s easy to package up and get on the van with ease!”
Peter – The London Road Runner
Peter’s our very own delivery driver who makes drops around London every day, making sure your orders get where they need to be, fast and efficiently!
Keep an eye out for our Marldon van doing the rounds every day and give him a wave!
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
“Driving around London and getting to see all the sights whilst I’m working.” (He’s got the best office view in the business!)
What’s a typical day like for you?
Peter kept it short and sweet: “I don’t have an answer for that one because I don’t want to make my job sound too easy.”

Fast, Furious & Friendly! (Sounds like a great movie sequel!)
A fun fact about yourself?
I don’t have any interesting facts about myself. (We refuse to believe this, Peter.)
Do you have any hobbies?
Running, walking, and making the most of life.
How long have you been at Marldon for?
Three years and counting!
What’s your favourite Marldon product?
Any product that is no longer on my van. (The mark of a job well done!)
