Protein free and moisture tolerant, the MXS110 smoothing compound is suitable for most subfloors, including under a DPM.

Marldon MXS110 Smoothing Compound can be applied from 2mm – 50mm in a single application and it’s rapid setting properties means it can be ready for foot traffic in just 90 minutes.

Composition:Cementicious based and protein free
Working Time: 30 minutes (at 20°C)
Thickness: 2-50mm
Coverage: An average thickness of 3mm will provide a typical coverage of 4m2 per bag. The coverage guidelines are based on a flat level surface, additional material should be allowed where the substrate is rough or uneven – see technical data sheet for more info
Cure Time:Walk on time 90mins at 20°C. Resilient floor coverings can be installed after 3 hours. Wood flooring can be installed after 24 hours. Higher temperatures and lower humidity will shorten the drying time and lower temperatures and higher humidity will extend the drying time.
Drying Time:Moisture sensitive floor finishes can be installed when the screed is dry to 75% RH as per BS8203, typically after 24 hours, dependent on thickness and ambient conditions (20°C, 50% RH). After 6 hours curing without draughts ensure the area has sufficient ventilation to allow the screed to dry.
Storage: Store indoors in unopened packaging, off the ground and in cool dry conditions.
Shelf Life:12 months when stored as recommended in original unopened packaging. High temperatures and humidity will lead to a reduced shelf life.
