We’re excited to kick off our ‘Meet the Team‘ series, where we’ll help you put a face to a name and give you a behind-the-scenes look at the fantastic people who make Marldon tick, so keep an eye out for future blog posts featuring each of our departments…
In this first post of the series, we’re introducing Lisa, our Customer Experience Manager, and Martha, our Customer Experience Assistant. These two are the driving force behind ensuring everything runs smoothly and that you always have an outstanding experience with us!
Meet Lisa, Our Customer Experience Manager
With over 7 years of experience, Lisa is a true master at what she does and if you’ve ever worked with us before, there’s a good chance you’ve already met her in one way or another!
What does your role at Marldon involve?
My job is to make sure everything runs like clockwork, from keeping our team on track to making sure our customers receive the VIP treatment every time.
What’s the most rewarding part of working in this industry?
I love being part of a company that offers such high-end service. Tendering for projects and seeing them come to life is so rewarding – it’s great to see our efforts turn into something tangible and successful.
What’s a typical day like at Marldon for you?
Non-stop! My day is a whirlwind of tasks – answering questions, solving problems and keeping everything running smoothly, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
If you could describe Marldon in 3 words, what would they be?
Team, Service and Premium!
What’s an interesting fact about yourself?
I’m a MetaFit instructor and I absolutely love it! It’s the perfect mix of fitness and fun for me and a great way for me to practice what I preach when it comes to staying active and healthy.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I’m all about spending time with my family and friends, going on long walks and hitting the gym of course!
How long have you worked at Marldon?
7 years & 8 months (almost a Marldon veteran!)
What’s your favourite Marldon product and why?
It’s got to be the Marldon MXA200 Flexible Wood Floor Adhesive. It’s where Marldon began, and I love that it’s still at the core of what we do

Meet Martha, Our Customer Experience Assistant
Meet Martha – the friendly face (and voice) who’s usually the first to help when you have questions or are placing an order. She’s always ready to assist, making sure our customers get the support they need – so there’s a good chance you’ve spoken to her before!
What does your role at Marldon involve?
I’m the friendly face (or voice!) here to assist both new and returning customers—whether you stop by in person or give us a call. I also promote our products and ensure everything runs smoothly, so everyone leaves with a smile!
What’s the most rewarding part of working in this industry?
One of the best parts of my job is chatting with people from all walks of life – whether it’s our customers or my colleagues! Oh, and did I mention I’m in the middle of buying my first house? The knowledge I’ve picked up at Marldon will make the whole renovation process much easier.
What’s a typical day like at Marldon for you?
I usually start my day frustrated with the heavy traffic on my way to work, but once I’m settled and have a cup of tea in hand, I’m all set! I dive in right away helping customers and getting your orders processed and out the door.
If you could describe Marldon in 3 words, what would they be?
Welcoming, Creative & Premium.
What’s an interesting fact about yourself?
I once spent 3 months backpacking around Asia, which then turned into an additional 8 months in Australia! It really was a life-changing experience so if anyone’s thinking about travelling, I say just go for it!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
You can usually find me out socialising with friends, obsessing over what’s for tea (tea, not dinner) and playing netball…my netball team say I’m like a whippet on the court!
How long have you worked at Marldon?
1 year and 6 months and I always make sure to enjoy every minute of it!
What’s your favourite Marldon product and why?
The MXA200 Wood Floor Adhesive Sausages – they’re versatile, user-friendly and satisfyingly squishy!
