“Any wood floor adhesive will do, they’re all the same”
Not at all!

Using the incorrect adhesive can ultimately lead to poor bonding, movement issues or even floor failure!
“More wood floor adhesive = a stronger bond!”
Applying too much adhesive may lead to issues such as uneven flooring, excessive adhesive squeeze-out, and poor curing during the drying process, so it’s important to use the right amount. We always recommend that you follow the manufacturer’s guidelines on the spread rate and which trowel size you need need depending on the adhesive type.
“Priming the subfloor isn’t necessary”
Even if you think it isn’t, it is!
Priming a subfloor is arguably one of the most important steps when installing a wood floor for many reasons:

- Reduce porosity
- Prevent moisture-related issues

“Any wood floor adhesive works with underfloor heating”
